Originally from Atlanta, GA, I moved to the DFW area in 2018. Braiding has been part of my life since childhood—starting with my own hair and evolving into a refined craft as I practiced on my sister and cousin. That early passion eventually became a purpose-driven career.

While earning my Bachelor’s degree from Fort Valley State University, I launched “Be Okay Hair” from my campus apartment, offering styling services to students and locals. After graduating in 2016, I briefly worked in corporate and contributed to three political campaigns, gaining valuable experience in leadership and community engagement.

In 2019, I rebranded as Be Okay Braids and stepped fully into entrepreneurship. Today, I specialize in Knotless Braids, men’s braid designs, and natural braid styles for women—protective, low-tension looks designed with hair health, comfort, and longevity in mind.

My work has attracted a high-profile clientele, including Grammy-nominated artist Trey Songz, Super Bowl champion Stephon Gilmore, players from over 12 NFL teams, FC Dallas Soccer Club members, and international gaming influencers like OpTic Gaming. With each client, my mission remains the same: deliver consistent quality with a focus on professionalism, artistry, and experience.

In 2025, I earned my barber license in the state of Texas. While attending barber school, I also developed BraidScape—a line of all-natural hair and body care products I’d been building quietly for over five years. Proudly made in Dallas, TX (where I currently reside), the line includes Luminous Hair Oil, a nourishing shampoo and conditioner, a microdermabrasion scrub, and an almond body lotion—all designed to support healthy hair and radiant skin.
